There are a few keys to running successful restaurants that apply across the board regardless of the style/type of concept. The first of these is to produce something worth talking about. We have. Our place, product, value proposition, style etc. should have something built into the experience that the people who visit – (customers/guests) will tell others about in a positive fashion. It is great food and cocktails. We excel at both.

Next, through our use of systems & talent we should be able to pull off this experience in a highly consistent fashion. It is also of paramount importance that we be able to speak the royal language (customer service) and know it so well that we could actually teach it. If you don’t know the language of “all” business it is hard to make yours a long term success. After your restaurant (platform) is in place – you’ll need to leverage any/all reasonable/unreasonable resources to get the word out about why – what you do – is worth a 1st trip or a 100th return trip to see you. We are doing that through our social media footprint.

It used to be said that the three most important things for a restaurant were “location, location, location” and then we heard a lot about “personality, personality, personality” – or even “food, food, food” now maybe – “cocktails, cocktails, cocktails” – but truly it is a successful synergy that drives successful restaurants – the parts come together to create a well working (bigger & better together) whole enchilada (pardon the pun)
